Max's first sentence and Skipples
Yesterday Max said his first sentence.. "Bye Bye.. Car". Poet Genius!
He has been relishing books with pictures of farm animals, wild animals, cars and trains. His favourite game is to be asked: Where is the Horse. He points to it, smiles a wicked grin, and lets out a neigh. Ditto for cows and sheep. I'm always amazed when he knows a word I have not taught him.
We were throwing sticks in the pond at Anzac park the other day, and I was impressing Laura with some fine skipping rocks and teaching her the word ripple. Everytime I found a flat one she begged me for it, and chucked it in the water... "Look Daddy .. I made a Skipple".
Laura has started drawing people. Me and Julia look like Jellyfish, but I think she is drawing our souls. Art Prodigy!
